Facelift
A facelift (rhytidectomy) smoothes loose skin on your face and neck and decreases visible signs of aging, such as deep cheek folds and jowls. Different variations of facelift may reposition deeper tissues and underlying fat in order to restore a more youthful contour to your face.
Incisions are placed within the hairline and in the natural contours in front of and behind the ears. Modified (limited) incisions can also be done to correct only the lower face and neck.
After facelift surgery some degree of bruising and swelling will occur as well as temporary numbness in the face and neck. Makeup can be worn a few days after the procedure and patients are often back to work within two weeks.

Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation can give women with small or unevenly sized breasts a fuller, firmer, better-proportioned look through the placement of implants. Women may elect to undergo breast augmentation for many different medical and aesthetic reasons, including balancing breast size and compensating for reduced volume due to pregnancy or age. The procedure can be combined with a breast lift if needed for more satisfying results.
The breast implants are saline (salt water filled). Silicone gel filled breast implants are available in special cases of implant replacement, breast reconstruction, and when combined with a breast lift.
Incisions are made in inconspicuous places to minimize scar visibility (around the lower edge of areola, in the fold beneath the breast, or in the under arm area). The incisions are closed with a medical-grade adhesive to avoid stitch marks. The implant is placed behind each breast underneath the chest muscle. Placement under the muscle offers a few advantages over the placement of the implant under the breast tissue only. These include a more natural, softer result, a reduced risk of post-operative firmness due to scar tissue, and less interference with eventual mammogram examinations.
Dr. Wiener minimizes the post-operative discomfort by placing a “pain pump” underneath the breast at the time of surgery. This tiny (1.0-mm in diameter) catheter is attached to a small, noiseless, pump that the patient clips to her clothing for the first 48-hours after the procedure. The pump infuses local anesthesia continuously underneath the breast, essentially numbing the tissues and decreasing the discomfort significantly. After surgery, a soft support bra with a wrap around the chest is worn.
Most patients feel tired and sore after surgery and there is some degree of bruising and swelling. The pain pump catheters are removed painlessly at the first post-operative visit (48-hours). There are no stitches to remove. Most patients return to work after one week. More strenuous activities should be avoided for 4-6 weeks.

Liposuction
In Dr. Wiener’s practice, it is not liposuction, it is “Liposelection”. Liposelection (by using the VASER (™) is a new and very different way to remove unwanted fat from almost any part of the body, that is as gentle as it is effective. This revolutionary new procedure offers exceptional results and rapid healing, and is an alternative to the harsh techniques of traditional liposuction. Liposelection uses state-of-the-art ultrasound technology to reshape your body. Since it is more tissue selective than traditional liposuction, damage to connective tissue is minimized. There is less bruising and swelling than traditional liposuction and recovery is faster. In addition, more fat can be removed with smoother results and more contraction of the overlying skin when compared to traditional liposuction.
The treatment is done utilizing tiny incisions in inconspicuous spots. A solution is injected (tumescent approach) to facilitate fat removal and minimize bruising. The ultrasonic treatment (Liposelection) is then done. Liquefied fat is then removed.
After surgery, there will be some degree of swelling with the possibility of mild bruising. A form-fitting surgical garment is worn for several weeks to minimize swelling and optimize contour. Patients are encouraged to walk as soon as possible, and most return to work within one week (depending on the area treated). More strenuous activities can be resumed in 4-6 weeks.

Tummy Tuck
An abdominoplasty helps flatten and re-contour the abdomen and waist, by removing excess skin and fat, and by tightening the underlying muscles. The procedure is especially beneficial for women with loose skin, stretch-marks, and muscle laxity as a result of pregnancy, as well as for patients with excess fat and loose baggy skin, which has simply lost its elasticity.
A horizontal incision above the pubic area but within the panty line is utilized. The length of the incision varies with the amount of skin to be removed. Dr. Wiener uses a medical grade adhesive rather than stitches in order to minimize the appearance of scars. In some cases, liposuction to the abdomen, hips or flank area can be added to achieve the best possible contour.
Most patients feel tired and sore after surgery there will be some degree of bruising and swelling. Small plastic drains are in place and are removed in several days. A post-surgical garment is worn for several weeks. Most patients return to work within 10-14 days. More strenuous activities can be resumed in 6-8 weeks.
