Meet Dr. deLeeuw

Dr. deLeeuw practices in an accredited plastic surgery center conveniently located in Delaware, minutes from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. As a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. deLeeuw is a member of the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery as well as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. After many years of performing both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, Dr. deLeeuw dedicated his practice exclusively to cosmetic procedures in the mid 1990's. Since that time, he has continuously evaluated new equipment, procedures and techniques to further enhance results.

Dr. deLeeuw completed his undergraduate education at the University of Santa Clara in California in the pre-med program. He then transferred to Baylor College of Medicine, where he received his M.D. He completed his internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. After completing a three-year residency in general surgery, Dr. deLeeuw then completed a plastic surgery residency at Louisiana State University Medical College.

Over the years, Dr. deLeeuw has actively participated in the teaching program for the surgical residents of the Medical Center of Delaware. He has also been called upon as a presenter for various medical groups, such as the nursing program of the University of Delaware, as well as other professional and civic groups in the area.

On the personal side, Dr. deLeeuw's interests include gourmet food and a love for cooking. For several years he has been a volunteer chef for the March of Dimes Gourmet Gala event. He has a wife, Gail, and five children: Jason, Peter, Hillary, Katherine and Alison.
